The NSW Premier has called a second Covid-19 press conference, just two hours after she had already fronted reporters.
Gladys Berejiklian called the media event for 2pm on Saturday at St Leonard’s.
It comes after NSW recorded 12 new locally acquired infections on Saturday.
The numbers released today reported 29 locally acquired cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night, 17 of which were announced yesterday.
Speaking to the press for the first time on Saturday morning, Ms. Berejiklian said NSW may need to extend the lockdown orders, as cases were identified beyond the four locked down LGAs in the Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, and City of Sydney council areas.
